Wattstor, was once again, among exhibitors at this year’s Solar & Storage Live, the UK’s largest exhibition of its kind. This year’s show brought an exciting new focus on Solar, Storage, EV infrastructure and related technologies that will empower the transition to cleaner energy. Solar and energy professionals attending the event had the opportunity to discuss how solar, energy storage and energy management connect, providing cost-effective, low carbon solutions to commercial and residential end-users. During 3 days, the event alone attracted the attention of more than 4,000 visitors with 1,200 people packed through the doors in the opening two hours alone on Tuesday.
This year, Wattstor introduced at the exhibition the WattEMS, a revolutionary device programmed to provide intelligent management of power and WattJOULES, a standardized home and small & medium enterprises energy storage system that will enable owners to make the most of their renewable energy. This was a great opportunity for the team to meet and talk not only to current partners but also to prospect customers across various industry sectors.
Trevor Howard, Wattstor MD, said:
“Compared with the show last year we were amazed by the number of visitors who stopped at our stand and expressed interest in our products and bespoke solutions, some of which will be launched towards the end of this year. We’ve been doing these shows for some years now, and we’ve never been so busy as we have been this year. Taking part in the exhibition also helped us to recognize that the market has already been shifted from solar through storage towards more sophisticated management of power, where we have already positioned ourselves”.
Besides the exhibition itself, a prestigious presentation and gala dinner ceremony awards organized by Solar Power Portal took place at Hilton hotel on Wednesday 4th, an event established to recognize outstanding achievement in the solar and clean energy sectors within the last 12 months. We are very proud that Broom Court Care Home, part of the Blackwood Group, won the award for Residential, Commercial & Industrial Energy Storage, where Wattstor was commissioned for providing battery storage system components, system design and project technical support at the facility.
