Tour de France coincides with another important race in Poland – Tour de Pologne. The races are traditionally held in August however organizers had to reschedule them due to Olympics in Rio. It is a pity that the two respectable and important races coincide with each other, but organizers had little choice. In 2014 our company also did co-organize one of the stages and we can say that Tour de Pologne belongs to the better races worldwide.
Etixx reps cannot miss TdP and riders got down to it from the very first stage – 1 place was taken by Martinelli, second by Gaviria and Štybar only just missed the bronze medal. Gaviria dominated 2 stage and sprinted to take first which made him be the lead in the general classification.
Despite the fact that he took 14 place at 3 stage, he retains first in the general classification. We hope that he will keep this place until the end of the races.
